We headed down to the bridge a little after 9pm but couldn't get through all the way to the bridge to see the fireworks. As the newspaper reported, people were lining up up 7am to get seats down there. Not to be discouraged, we got as close as we could and stood out there with the crowds of people (in shorts and t-shirts) to see what we could. It was still a great night with fantastic weather.
It's so nice to be back on Daylight Savings Time with the sun setting so late on a hot, humid, summer night...
After the fireworks, we went out and it's now 5am and we are looking forward to sleeping after a very busy first day in Sydney. First thing tomorrow (whenever)....STARBUCKS!
