Go Go Go...

Having had a LONG day yesterday, and not getting much sleep due to the time change, we figured we'd use the Hop-On/Hop-Off tour bus and have a really easy, relaxed day.Turns out, its far more exhausting that one would think! The day started off easy enough. Starbucks, checking out a few of the local shops, enjoying the hot weather, and then moseying our way over to the bus tour.


First stop, Bondi Beach!


It was packed! Surfers, sunbathers, skateboarders, shoppers...everywhere! We spent a few hours walking the beach and taking in the sights, but we wanted to get back to the bus tour and continue on (don't worry Bondi...we'll be back)!

We hopped back on our luxury transportation (er...read: tour bus) and sped off to the Sydney Opera house. Walking up to the Opera House, touching the tile that covers the exterior, is one of those surreal moments where you just can't fathom being there. A very cool experience indeed! After a bit of um..."creative" photography and tasty tasty ice cream,


we headed off for the Botanic Gardens. Beautiful views of the harbor and Opera House, thousands of wild parrots, bats and other native birds, greeted us as we took a nice long stroll through the park.

As the sun started to sink in the sky, we headed back to our little part of town, had a great dinner and rested up for what is sure to be even more Sydney fun!

Oh...and on a side note...Michael enjoys applying sunscreen WAY too much...
