This evening we had a great time at a local BBQ given by my friend Alan. He moved here from Toronto 2 years ago (same time I was here last). At the party we met people from such exotic places as Dallas, TX (LOL), Rome Italy, and South Africa. Menu: Kangaroo Burgers on the barbie! Yum! Yes, even Eric ate one. Way to go Eric! (He felt a little bad but it tasted soooo GOOD!)

Eric in Australia, the Kangaroo has lost all natural predators, and in 1996 Out numbered Australians 3 to 1. Hence the change to labeling the Kangaroo as Cattle... So, eat up, "Kangaroo the Other Red Meat".
ReplyDeleteFeatherdale Wildlife Park is where I went and fed kangaroos, swatted a wombat on the behind, patted a kookaburra's head, and tried to sneak up behind an emu and pet it. There was some kind of a stork there too that did a mating dance at my friend. Does the Blue Mountains Tour include abseiling? If you have time, that's a must do.
ReplyDeleteDon't fret about the rain. Currently it is 6 degrees here in V.H. ("Feels like" minus 7.) So when you guys make it back to Bondi beach on the 333 bus, I want to see some photos with shirts off. :-)
